SaferGlobe’s new background paper examines borders, especially in the context of the European Union and the implementation of the principle of free movement in the EU.Borders are vital for existence of modern states. On the other hand, borders hamper the free movement of people, goods, services, and capital.
The background paper is part of the Fortress Europe -project coordinated by Eurooppalainen Suomi ry.
